I recently revisited the site where I captured this image in Fort Tilden. It is the same location of MoMA PS1's summer show, Rockaway! featuring several site specific installations and solo projects by Patti Smith, Adrián Villar Rojas, and Janet Cardiff.
I made this image as the sun set behind me and the pooling water created this wonderful reflection. Central to the image is a toy gun, abandoned and floating in the blue swampy water.
