New architecture work up for CARVANA.

I covered their new car vending machine in Raleigh, NC. Measuring five stories high — customers who buy a car on the CARVANA website can pick it up a few days later from a local vending machine.

I'm happy to share my first book cover: Ohio by Stephen Markley published by Simon & Schuster. Expected publication date will be next year, August 21st, 2018. I look forward to reading it and congrats to Stephen Markley on his debut novel!

The photograph is from my series (and limited edition booklet–still available!) ten convenient stores. This image was shot with a 4x5 view camera and I'll always remember making it, the family sitting and waiting in the back of the car, the wanted poster taped to the left of the door, the smell of the recent rain—I love seeing now, it in this format.

Revisiting the Orange County Government Center, Goshen, NY — Part 3

On my last visit to Goshen, NY we arrived just as the sun was setting over the town. The new structure is nearly finished. Most of the construction equipment is gone, the parking lot has reopened, and fresh grass is beginning to take root. The zombie modernism brutalism mashup is almost complete. I'm still scratching my head and wondering why.
