Recently, I photographed the latest New York location of Grind. Located on Broadway and 39th Street, Grind is a members only workspace for freelancers and small businesses. It's the inverse model of going to a coffee shop, paying for coffee and using a table as an office. At Grind, you pay to be in the office space, enjoy free wifi and a bottomless Intelligentsia Coffee. No odd looks when you take advantage of their wifi all day and only sip one cup of joe. The working environment is set up to encourage a free exchange between people and businesses using the space–an element rarely seen in the traditional 'coffice.'

Art in a New Miami Art Museum
Herzog & De Meuron
This is news to me but before Art Basel began Herzog & de Meuron unveiled the plans for the Miami Art Museum which was reviewed by the Times.
For more have a look at the review: NYT: Matching Architecture to the Art in a New Miami Museum
Also, their amazing new parking garage is under construction at the western end of Lincoln Road in Miami Beach. The New York times has the scoop: Square Feet - A Miami Beach Parking Lot, Designed by Herzog and de Meuron.
10 Most Amazing Ghost Towns
I am not really sure how I can across this link but I can't stop looking at these images of the 10 Most Amazing Ghost Towns. I am especially drawn to San Zhi with images by Liao Yusheng (Flickr set and slideshow) and Chernobyl workers' home of Prypiat. You can see some great Chernobyl images over at the classic internet viral sensation - KIDDofSPEED project shot by a mysterious photographer who only goes by the name of "Elena."
Maybe I found the ghost town link through the NOTCOT blog.
