winter music conference

Miami has hosted the Winter Music Conference (WMC) for some twenty years now in one form or another. I arrived in Miami in 1996 for my freshman year of University and I began documenting the conference and the parties surrounding it. Miami was a virtual music wasteland and WMC was not just a big event for the international scene but it greatly influenced the Miami locals and introduced them to the innovators of many genres of music. In this series I documented the changing electronic music scenes and tried to visually represent the music I was listening to.
